How does La casa es tuya get its holiday homes?
We manage some of our holiday homes ourselves, other accommodations we offer in close cooperation with reliable local partners. La casa es tuya carefully selects its partners and chooses its holiday homes with care.
Why rent a villa or apartment?
A holiday home or villa offers you the opportunity to go on holiday together with your family, a group of friends, several families or couples. Of course, you can also just enjoy it with the family or as a couple. Your holiday home offers you your own private swimming pool and access to all facilities. This way you can cook or bbq during your holiday. Freedom and not having to look at the clock is part of your holiday, after all, you don't have fixed times for breakfast or dinner. Renting a holiday home is also often cheaper per person per night than a hotel.
How can I book?
You can book a large part of our holiday homes online 24/7 on our website by clicking on the green "Book now" button at the holiday home. If the holiday home is on request (the calendar is not shown or is coloured orange) you can request more information by clicking on the "Availability" button. If you do not want to book online, you can of course also make a booking by phone during office hours or contact us via the contact form and we will answer your request as soon as possible.
What is an option?
With an option, the accommodation will be held for you for a few days free of charge and without obligation. You will then have plenty of time to consult with family or friends or to look for suitable flights. Normally, you have an option for 2 to 3 days, depending on the destination.
How do I know if the accommodation is available?
Almost every accommodation has its own availability calendar where you can see if the holiday home is available on your desired dates. For an explanation of the colors, please refer to the color scheme at the top of the calendar. If the property does not have an availability calendar, it is very likely at the request of the property manager or the owner, or the property may be part of a larger group. In this case, you can check availability by clicking on the 'Availability' button. Of course, you can also check availability by contacting us by phone, e-mail or via the contact form.
Why do I see the same accommodations multiple times in the list for a different number of people?
Some accommodations can be rented at different rates depending on the number of people. When you book a larger accommodation for only 4 people, you book the entire accommodation, it is possible that the unused bedrooms are locked. It is therefore wise to indicate how many bedrooms you want to use before arrival. The accommodations have been published several times on the website for a different number of people in order to also make them appear in searches from 4 to 6 people. Many owners of large accommodations accept bookings for fewer people at a discounted rate.
What is the total cost for the accommodation?
If you have searched with arrival and departure dates, the rental price will be displayed automatically, this is the rental price together with any mandatory extra costs for the chosen length of stay. If you want to calculate the price for a different period, first go back to the availability calendar to select or enter the dates you want. All prices include the mandatory additional costs, optional extras that you can book with the holiday home and any discounts can be found under the tab "Prices" in the individual accommodation description.
There is no calendar displayed at the property, how do I know availability or prices?
It can happen in some cases that a holiday home does not have a calendar, this is very likely at the request of the manager or the owner, or the property may be part of a larger group. In this case, you can check availability by clicking on the 'Availability' button. Of course, you can also check availability or prices by phone, e-mail or via the contact form.
How can I pay at La casa es tuya?
By credit card or bank transfer. If you book online, you will be taken to the payment screen, where you can make your payment directly. You will receive a confirmation email with the reservation form after booking. In the reservation form you can see exactly how the rent is built up and what amount you have to pay and when.
When do I have to pay?
A deposit of 30% of the rental amount is required upon booking. The remaining amount of the rent must be paid no later than 6 weeks before arrival. Extras such as final cleaning, cots, transfers, etc. are paid at the time of booking, on arrival or on departure, depending on the extra. This is always specified in a calculation. Please refer to your booking form for details and exact dates on which you will have to pay.
What currencies can I pay in?
At La casa es tuya you pay in euros.
Are there any additional costs?
Any additional costs are always stated on your reservation form. Some additional costs depend on the service you wish to use, for example the placement of a cot or the admission of a pet in the accommodation.
Can I cancel a booking?
There are often costs associated with cancelling a booking. Please refer to our Payment and Cancellation Conditions enclosed with the booking form. Cancelling a booking can be done by phone or e-mail.

When will I receive my travel documents?
After the remaining amount has been received by us and no later than 3 weeks before departure (provided payment has been received in full), we will send you the travel documents by e-mail.

How can I make a complaint?
Of course, we hope that you will have a carefree holiday with La casa es tuya, but in the unlikely event that you notice a mistake or imperfection at the destination, you are expected to report it. This can often prevent discomfort and complaints. If you have any very serious complaints on site, you must inform La casa es tuya from the destination. In this way we are in a position to resolve the complaint. Complaints afterwards must be submitted in writing and this can be done up to a maximum of 2 months after the end of the trip.
